The weather was almost too good for today's race.  After running in the 40's and 50's, it felt damn hot as it reached the 70's today, but I'm not complaining.  I ran the lead leg which was pretty tough, a lot of the boardwalk in Lavallette was covered in sand, makes the effort seem that much more difficult, plus we had an extra detour which added about .3miles, making the total distance @6.4.  If the distance was what it was supposed to be, 6.1, I would have been disappointed with my time, but I think I ran pretty well, 37:10, probably around 5:5?ish.  I handed of to Dave D in second place, but he quickly regained the lead, and stretched it out, then Bob Horn stretched it even further, handing off to Jeremy at least 4 minutes ahead of the next team.  Scott brought it home somewhere around 2:38 for the 26.2 miles.  I'm interested to see what the official results say.  Good job to the MacGowan Agency Team, a strong effort by all.
