is this weeks theme; to try to recover and absorb all the hard workouts Ive done over the last couple of weeks.  Next Monday is the Pier Village 5K, the last of the five races that make up the Jersey Shore Grand Prix, currently I'm 9th, I think.  To move up to 8th I need to have a really amazing race, its not impossible.

Today I did 8 with 4 miles of fartlek in the middle, felt good, really strong by the end @ 59min.  After running 28 miles over the weekend I needed the extra day off (yesterday)
