Great race today. A little muggy, but overall not too bad. First mile was 5:55, I actually took the lead briefly after the first downhill. Mile 2, 6:08, settled down in bit, now I'm in second, 3rd mile 6:04 and I slip into third, 4th mile I really lost it, 6:24? didn't feel that slow, but I got it back together for 5, 6:03, and 6, 6:09, last 0.2 in 58 seconds, I felt strong at the finish with a new PR my well over a minute, 37:45. The guy who came in fourth was closing in the last mile, but knowing he was close helped me keep the pressure on.
Now I have to get in the car and drive to Saratoga, man I wish I had a driver.
