Todays race, at Wolf Hill in Oceanport, was a tough one.  I actually feel like its harder than Holmdel.  Its two loops with some rolling hills, and its long @3.7 miles.  The order of finish for the first five guys was almost the same as last week.  We had 1st, 4th, and me at 5th @22:39.  My legs definitely are feeling the increase in weekly mileage, but I still had enough for a strong effort in the last 300m or so to move up from 6th to 5th, but I was seriously sucking wind after I crossed the line.  The intense humidity didn't help either.  Looking back at my time at this course last year, I was only 10 seconds faster today, but I'm sure I was much better rested then.  With the warm up and cool down, the total for the day was probably about 8 miles.
