Long run in the rain.

Well, the weather forecast was just about completely wrong. Last night, they said it would be dry until at least 9am, and then it would start to drizzle, with the heavier rain coming later in the day. When I awoke @ 6am it was pouring, so I put on the coffee and hoped it would pass. But by 7am it was clear that it wasn't going anywhere so I headed out for my 17 miler. I was totally soaked by 6 miles. It was warm though, so at 10 miles I stopped by the house to lose my jacket and change into a dry short sleeve shirt. I did the last seven down my the beach, kind of windy down there. Overall not a bad run despite the conditions. The pace was pretty steady, but the second half was faster than the first, total time out was just under 2:05 (@7:21 pace.)
