Much better

Man, I felt so much better today. No doubt cutting yesterday's run short was the right thing to do. Plus, last night while watching TV I really dug into the sore spots and massaged out the kinks. Believe it or not, self-massage is pretty effective for runners, cheap too. And because I felt so good on my 9 miler today, I was finally able to enjoy the weather. Monday and Tuesday my legs felt so crappy I was barely aware of how beautiful it was. The 68 minutes I was out there tonight felt how they should; strong, relaxed, and ready for a good effort tomorrow.
