After painting well into the night yesterday, I slept in today, but not too late.  I painted for a few hours in the morning, then did my workout mid-day.  It was nice to do intervals in the sunshine.  It was pretty warm, but still cool enough to not get hot.

I did an extended warm up with some stride outs to make sure I was ready to go.  I felt really good throughout the whole workout, the second ten actually felt easier than the first.  Average speed was just under 78 seconds per 400m.  I wound up doing 14 miles total @ 1:42.  The thing about this workout is that I get to spend a total of 5 miles running @ 5:12 pace without having to run 5 miles in 26 minutes (which I can't do anyway, much as I would like to.)  This will be the last time I do this particular workout for a while, at least a month or so.  After tomorrow hills are the focus, all else becomes secondary.

Came home, ate, and painted some more, now off to bed.  Tomorrow should be more running less painting.
