Today was the second hill workout of the week.  I basically did the same workout as Tuesday, but it was much faster today.  The pace of this workout really doesn't matter, so the fact that I was 10 minutes faster today for 10 miles @ 1:18 doesn't mean much.  I think I've got the form down and have become a little more efficient at each exercise.  Plus I made it through almost all the uphill sections without having to jog.  The uphills are actually intense enough to push the leg muscles to failure and you're forced to walk.  This isn't something I'm used to as a distance runner.  Usually you can modify the pace and just keep moving, but the added resistance going uphill makes you just have to stop.  Overall, I felt really good today, the goal is not to make this workout take less time, it's to become strong enough to be able to do more sets.
