XC is serious business up here, a lot of really fast runners show up for these races.  Even though it was a long way to drive for a 5K, it's always great to put spikes on and run like an animal over all kinds of terrain.  On the warm up I managed to find a team to run with, High Noon out of Ithaca, nice bunch of guys.  The race itself was pretty good, tough course, but I managed to get through @19:05.  It kind of felt long, but I think when you're out of shape races always feel long.  The next race in two weeks is quite a bit closer and I think my schedule should allow me to make it to that one too.  I ran the course for a warm up and a cool down so the total for the day was probably just a bit under ten.

Total for the week: 35
for the  year: 1540 (amazingly I am actually ahead of where I was last year at this time far as mileage goes, but last year between now and end of  year I ran almost 900 miles, that's not going happen this year, but I think I will crack 2000.)
