The long run.

Today was the first really fast workout I've done in a while and it was tough.  After a short one mile warm up, I did a mile at 6:08, then jogged a mile, then two in a row fast, 6:08, 6:06, then jogged a mile home.  I did this run at the park so the conditions were similar to XC, not quite as hilly, but very different form the road or track.  The second two felt better than the first one, and the time for six was 41ish.  It was pretty hot out there today, running shirtless I still got really sweaty.  I'll try to get in another fast workout this week, probably a longer fartlek run on Friday.
