Routine

So during these first few days of chemo I'm trying to set up a new routine; getting up early, getting my run in and getting on with my day.  Today as soon as it was light out I was out the door for 4 miles.  It was still chilly enough to have hat and gloves on when I left but by the end I was feeling pretty warm.  Now the trick is to stick to the routine without becoming complacent.

Good luck with your renewed Temodar cycles.

It reached 73 today in Columbus OH so I was able to get out for a 30 mile bike ride. Felt good outside of all the traffic on the road.

I've lived in the same place for 15 years and when I first moved in there was hardly any traffic on surrounding roads but now it's like being downtown in a major city. My running mileage has been really low so far this year with long runs only measuring 10K compared to 13 mile runs about every other week last year. There's still time for me to get in shape before local triathlon season starts in June but time is running out. As I've been lifting weights 6 days per week for the past year my desire to run/bike has diminished.
