After taking the day off yesterday I did my last hard workout before next weekend's race.  10 days out I should be able to absorb some benefit from todays run.  I started out with an extended warm up of 3.75 miles with some fast strides to loosen up.  Then I did a mile @ 6:03, 1/4 mile jog, a mile @ 6:01, 1/4 mile jog, then 3 half miles with 1/4 jogs in between, each @ 3:00.  I was hurting by the end of this one, and the 1.5 miles home made the total 10 for the day @ 1:12.

Power washed the house this morning and just about everything else is all set for show.  By the end of the day tomorrow we'll be all done and ready for vacation!!
