Yesterday was a long day but everything is now squared away; surgery next Thursday followed by recovery, then 6 weeks of radiation.

We made it back here safe and sound, and it stopped raining so I could get out for a run (much needed after sitting in the car for almost 5 hours.)  I did 5 with the 3 in the middle pretty fast ; 6:09, 6:33, and 6:18.  Pace was a little uneven, but I blame that on the hills and the wind.  Felt pretty good for 5 in under 34 minutes, I'll have no trouble sleeping tonight.
