Maybe I am.  Today I just went out and cranked my last pre-op run.  I did 5 @ 31:38, each mile faster than the last, from 6:38 down to 6:05.  The weather was awesome, sun, cool breeze, no clouds.  I'm ready to rock.

I have consulted with connor and he asserts that a smooth dome does in fact make you faster. See you tomorrow morning EARLY.

I'm writing this on Thursday to let you know that since you couldn't run today, I ran for you. Your time wasn't what you usually do but it was a ten miler....can't wait to see you up and running again soon.

      Hi Tim,

Are you having another operation sometime soon? It's been a while since I've read your training log but saw the word pre-op in your most recent entry. I've started taking my running act outdoors on weekday mornings and currently averaging 8-9 miles at a 7 minute/mile pace hoping to build to 13 miles over the next couple weeks.

Hi Tim, glad to read you'll soon be discharged after your third operation. While surgery seems to remain the most effective course of treatment I can't imagine what it's like to have your skull opened three times. Hope your most recent surgery provides you with a period of remisson. July 6 will be my six year anniversary since diagnosis so am grateful for every month of life there after.

Hey Bill, I too am hoping the third time will be the charm.  While physically it's pretty mucht the same, Mentally, knowing what is coming really helps.  After a really good nights sleep at home I'm feeling great!  As of now I am about a bit more than six years out from that first seizure I had back in 2003.  Hope to be back running in a few weeks, i walked a mile while in the hospital, 14 laps on the floor I was on, just had to keep moving

Great to read you're recovering quickly from Thursday's surgery. I can fully relate to doing laps around the neuro wing while waiting to be released. The nursing staff refer to me as a "walkie-talkie" because most patients on my hospital's neuro floor are stroke victims unable to walk and/or talk.
