Almost October, I kind of thought this weather was over. After getting the utilities and the insurance all straightened out this morning, I went out for a mid-afternoon run. Today was planned to be a long, relatively hard effort, but because of the weather, the hard part was definitely "relative." I did 18 @ 2:16, it took a lot of my mental reserves not to cut it short today. A good effort to build toughness! Last Thursday I did pretty much the same run, but I was more than 8 minutes faster (but it was also a lot cooler!)
