Cross countrty this morning was great.  After warming up over the last 1.7 ish miles of the course, I felt ready to go.  They said the course was about 3.3, but it turns out we all missed the first turn so it only wound up being about 2.7 or so.  I was actually glad it was short, but i wish I knew earlier, I could have went faster than the 15:52 that I did.  Great course though, mostly single track in the woods followed by some rolly, twisty, turny running through some meadows.  Could have been a bit less humid, but the short course helped make even that tolerable.  I ran the course for a cool down, so I figure I probably ran about 7 miles today.  10th place overall, not sure how the team did, we'll find out next week sometime.  Next week is Wolf Hill, but I'll be going easy because it's the day before the SeaSide Half Marathon that I'm running as a tune-up race.
