Today was the basically the same workout as last Thursday, and like Tuesday, it was faster.  My legs felt fresher going in, but I ran on the bike trail today, and I forgot how that gentle uphill on the way out can make those first few miles feel harder.  The workout was 3 x 4.5 miles with 1/2 mile jog.  The fast parts were done in 28:44 (6:23pace) 28:46 (6:24) and 29:08 (6:28.)  I felt like the last one was going to be the fastest, but I guess I was just pushing hard to maintain.  But still, the average pace was for the 13.5 fast miles was 6:25, about 7 seconds faster than last week, so progress is good.  It didn't feel that hard until the last two miles or so, that was the only time I was really outside my comfort zone.  With 1.5 mile warm up and cool down, it was 18 for the day @ 2:07.
