A great day so far.  Nice relaxing Christmas morning at the Cole house, then on to Pete and Kara's, then to Mom and Dad's.  From there, I struck out to do my long run on the boardwalk.  It was cold but not too bad, the wind was tolerable.  Today's run was my first real tempo run in a long time.  Since I was doing 10, and the wind was slight from the north, I did 5 up into Bradley to warm up, then at the turn, I ramped it up to tempo pace and did 4 back, then a mile to cool down.  I was hoping to hit 25 minutes (6:15/mile) but for some reason I just couldn't find my rhythm at that pace.  The first two were too slow, so I had to pick it up on the second two, not ideal for a tempo run, but overall time was 25:10, and the effort felt about right.  Total time for 10 was just under 73 minutes.  As a rest week, I'm getting some good quality in and feeling good!  Tomorrow will just be easy after work.  Now I hot the showers, then the Christmas dinner gorging begins!  After today's run I've got a free pass to eat as much as I want
