Great workout this morning!  I didn't have access to the track again this week, so I decided to do todays run on the treadmill.  When I got up this morning it was pouring rain and windy, so I knew there would be no way to get in a good workout outside today.

Since the max speed on my treadmill is 5:27 and I have been doing my workouts at 5:20 pace, I figured today I would up the volume and shorten the rest interval.  So after a 2 mile warm up, I did 20 x 400 with about 50 seconds rest in between.  Once I got through the first 12, the rest felt "easy" I just went into machine mode.  That's the good thing about doing a speed workout on the treadmill, you can't cheat, the pace you set is the pace you run.  With the cool down I actually ran 12 miles @ 81 minutes.  I'm pretty sure that is the farthest I have ever run on my treadmill.
