Looks like winter is giving us one last slap on her way out.  As I write this it is officially spring, but there is a chance of snow/sleet tonight.  I thought after Friday's weather that I could finally put away the hat and the gloves, but I actually had to wear the gloves for the first half of today's 12 miler.  I drove down to the inlet in Point and ran south from there all the way into Mantaloking and back.  Even after a full day of work, I still was looking forward to a long, flat, straight run.  Chilly wind from the southeast made the return feel warmer and easier.  I eased up on the effort during the second half and kept the same pace.  Time for 12 was about 1:27, right about 7:15 pace.  Only one more week of hills to go.  I've decided to only do two more full hill workouts, Tuesday and Thursday plus a hilly fartlek on Saturday.  In between will be easy days and a longish run Sunday.

Total for the week: 50
          for  the  year: 578
