Today was the first hard run of this new phase of training.  8 miles with 5 miles of sharp fartlek in the middle.  2 miles easy to get going, and a mile to cool down.  In the middle, it was a lot of fast running.  Total time for 8 miles was just under 56 minutes.  Felt good, even after a full day on my feet at work.
