Another good Monday night workout at CBA. Wound up doing an extended warm up, 2 big loops plus a mile on the track, so about 4 total, plus some strides. Tonight's workout was 2 x 200, 2 x 800, 2 x 200, 2 x 800. The 200s were @ mile pace, so for me that was 36 -37 with 200 recovery. The 800's were @ 5k pace, so between 5:45 and 5:47 with about 90 second recoveries. I felt smooth through all of these, no straining. Confidence is building for a fast run at Spring Lake (as long as the weather is reasonable.) Only about a mile to cool down made it 8 for the day.
