The forecast was accurate today.  In the 70's early, 80's by noon.  So I decided early to turn the AC on while the house was still cool.  Went out and did a bunch of errands, including a 2 hour trip to the DMV, then home to change for a run.  The house was right at the set temp. @ 3:00.

Since it was so hot I figured I should run where there is the most shade, Ocean County Park.  This time of year is always rough.  Getting used to the heat takes a while and you can always expect to feel pretty crappy for a few days while the body gets acclimated.  So I just did an easy 4 with some strides, and was happy to stop after 30 minutes.

Now when I got home, I assumed the house would be nice and cool.  WRONG!  Something is not working, so as I write this at 6pm I am waiting for the guy to come figure out what is wrong.  I'm pretty pissed, given that this system was installed last August and we've only had it on 2 or 3 time since then.  I am sweating as I type, not pleasant.  Hopefully it will be fixed by the time Hisako gets home from work.
