Wow, was I tired today.  All day at work all I wanted to do was lay down and sleep.  I think the increase in mileage is catching up with me, good thing next week is a recovery week.  By lunch, I was already trying to convince myself that I should just take today off and rest.  But strangely, by the time I got home, I felt fine.  So I got dressed and right as I was about to walk out the door, massive down pour, thunder and lightening under black skies.  I decided the treadmill would be the wise choice.  So I did an easy 7 with 10 x 100 race pace strides during the middle 5 miles.  Total time was @ 53 minutes.  Tomorrow is the Sheehan 5, and I'm not really sure what to expect.  I have done almost no hard running since Spring Lake, but my legs felt surprisingly good during the strides tonight.  It's not a fast course, so I'm going to try to go out "conservatively" and then pick up the pace, leaving enough to run strong during the last mile (and up Tower Hill!)
