After having to delay my run this morning, I was kind of dreading it as the day went on and it just kept getting hotter.  By 3:30 it was easily 90 here with super high humidity, and when the sun came out, it felt like it was pushing you down: that's what I call oppressive heat.  So I decided that since the wind was blowing from the SE, it must be cooler on the boardwalk.  By the time I got to Sea Girt to start my run, the sky was getting pretty dark.  I left in time to get 2 miles in before the storm started.  It was just a normal summer thunder storm.  It actually made the run a lot more tolerable.  I was soaked, but at no point did I feel hot.  8 miles done in 1 hour, felt good, but my legs are still a bit sore from Tuesday I guess.  Some easy miles tomorrow plus some strides, then I'll lay it all out there on Saturday and see what happens.  Lets hope the weather is decent.
