Monday double.

Started out the day with my first run outside in a week! It was so nice out, partly sunny, breezy, mid 70s. Perfect for an easy 5, so happy just to run outside, feel the body moving through the air.
The second run of the day was up at Lake Tak for my second ever running of the summer 5k series there. And again, I won! This time was a bit slower than last time, but I was on my own for the entire second half of the race. Sometimes when you're in the lead and it looks like you've got the race won, it's tough to will yourself to run any faster than you have to. But I'm still happy with an 18:03. I didn't get accurate splits due to the fact that I missed the button on my watch at the start. Walter started the race tonight with no warning, he just said GO! and we were off. First mile was @ 5:44, then 5:54, not sure about the last mile though? With warm up and cool down 5 more this evening, 10 for the day.
Then there was Hisako's race. She did great, 23:36 was fast enough for 2nd place female! Afterwards we went to the Circus for a healthy dinner.
