My first week unemployed = lots of painting this week.  But first things first.  Up and out for an easy 5.  Felt a little stiff right out of bed, but by the end of the run I was feeling fine.  I'm planning on running at Lake Tak again this evening, but we'll see how I feel after spending the day outside (in the shade and moving very slowly.)

I finished up the day with another win.  My slowest yet, but still a win.  This was also the worst conditions yet.  Hot, high humidity, but at least it was overcast.  First mile in 5:46, I felt like it was faster.  Second mile 6:00, also felt faster.  Clearly I was working harder to maintain the pace I think mostly because of the humidity.  By the time I was into the last lap I could really feel the oxygen debt, it just felt like there was no air, like breathing through a wet sponge.  Held it together for a 6:03 last mile, finished @ 18:25.  (Plus, I think the 19 miler yesterday may have taken some of the edge off my speed for today  There was one guy hanging with me through two miles I think, he wound up maybe 10 seconds behind.  Warm up and cool down made it 5, and 10 for the day.
