well, maybe not sweet.  Let's say short and intense.  I was at the track this morning at 6:00am!  I met up with Brian Prendergast to run his workout with him.  The plan was to do 400/400, @ 78/93.  Sound painful?  It was.  We were a little erratic with the splits, but at 6 o'clock in the morning, I don't expect to be right on pace.  After a short warm up and some strides, we went 75/100, 77/95, 76/107, 78/112.  We were generous with those last two recoveries, but necessarily so.  Hitting 4 400's at an average pace @ 77 with such short recovery was a workout.  So that 2 miles was done in 12:03.  Another mile or so to cool down and we'll call it 5 for the day, and done well before 7:00.  Now some breakfast and a full day of painting (the weather forced a delay yesterday.)
