The humidity was a killer out there this morning.  Started the track workout @ 6:45 and it just felt thick and gross.  The plan was 5 x 1mi. @ 5:30 with 400m rest.  After the first one I was fully soaked from sweat, which made it feel much harder than it should have @ 5:31.  The second one felt better right on pace at 5:30.  Number 3 was OK @ 5:32, but on number 4 the wheels just came off.  I stopped after being nearly 5 seconds off pace at 600m.  So I jogged it off and got it back together to suffer through the last one @ 5:40.  After that, there was one more mile to do at 6:40 pace which felt easy, but long.  Looking at the long range forecast, temperatures are supposed to go back down and things are going to dry out.  Lets hope that forecast holds for a cool dry morning next Sunday.  All together today was about 10 miles.
