Recovery.

Well after taking two full rest days, this afternoon began the recovery. I can't remember the last time I took two days in a row off, but I know it had to have been more than 20 weeks ago. For the last 3 days, I have been sitting in class, or sitting at the computer at home, or sitting on the couch. That's a lot of sitting. With so little movement, there is also very little repair going on. My legs felt pretty crappy on my easy 4 miler today. But since all the training had been leading to Sunday, there is no point in rushing the recovery. Two full rest days, followed by a few easy days is a more natural recovery process. I'm thinking I should be feeling near 100% by Saturday for XC.
