Short and easy

After another clinical day in the hospital, Hisako and I took the dogs over to Ocean County Park to watch the high school Shore Conference XC races. More specifically, we went to watch CBA dominate. While the varsity team killed it as expected, I actually enjoyed the freshman race more. CBA had enough boys out there to put up
4 teams in the freshman race!! It's always fun to watch those little guys running their hearts out. 13 years old, most of the top 5 were under 11 minutes for 2 miles.
Even though watching the races usually gets me fired up to run, I stuck to my plan and ran a very easy 4 miles today. This is a recovery week after all.
