I slept in this morning and woke up feeling totally rested!  But I also woke up to a steady rain that lasted most of the day.  I knew I wasn't going to run first thing so I had some breakfast and then hit the books.  By lunch it was still coming down pretty hard so I ate and kept on studying.  In the back of my mind I was thinking about the treadmill, but doing 13 indoors is no fun.  By about 4:00 the rain looked to be letting up so I quick put my gear on and headed out.  The temperature had really dropped over the course of the day, down to 40 by the time I left.  I am certain that running easy yesterday was the right thing today because I felt awesome today.  Cruised through 13 in about 90 minutes flat.  Some easy miles with strides tomorrow and I should be ready for a good run at the Turkey Trot.
