Today was a long progression run.  I got out to the reservoir a little early and did an easy 2 as a kind of warm up.  Then I met up with Joe and another guy and we started off @ 7 min pace.  By the middle of the second loop we were cruising along at or about 6:40 pace.  Before the last loop we stopped for a drink and I ditched my shirt, it was that warm.  The last loop we pushed it pretty hard.  We went through the last five in 32:12.  It was definitely an effort towards the end, but a controlled effort.  It's nice to have company on long runs like this one.  It felt like it went by much faster.  2 miles + 15 = 17.  Good way to end my last long week of base building.

Total for the week: 70
         for  the  year: 2533
