But I'm glad I got off my butt and did.  When I got home from school this afternoon I felt utterly exhausted, much too tired to run.  So I hit the couch for a snooze.  I didn't actually fall asleep, just rested my eyes for a while, and listened to the rain pour down.  Three 70 mile weeks in a row, ending with Sunday's hard 17 miler got to me, I didn't sleep well last night, usually the first sign that I'm near the edge.  But since this week is for recovery, no need to worry.  I nearly talked myself into just taking the day off and staying on the couch.  But I rallied and convinced myself to at least run a few miles on the treadmill.  When I went outside to grab my headphones out of the car I realized the rain had stopped and it was actually kind of nice out.  So I geared up and hit the streets.  I figured I'd just do an easy 4, but by mile 2 I felt pretty good, and then the rain started.  Since it was warm, it felt good and I did an easy 5 instead.  Feel better now for having done it!
