I had another good workout this morning.  I was at the track a little earlier than usual (8am) to meet up with a bunch of people who do weekly Saturday workouts on the track in Point Pleasant Beach (aka Antrim.)  The track is really nice, very recently resurfaced and a pleasure to run on.  Since each workout this week has been run slower than the previous one, today's run felt pretty "easy."  8 x 1000 @ 3:37 with 1 minute recovery.  That's 5:50 pace, which, given that I just ran 10 miles at that pace, wasn't too scary.  The first one was too fast @ 3:33, but after that I found the rhythm and was pretty close to right on for the rest.  The wind picked up during the last few so they were 1-2 seconds slow, but the effort was the same.  With warm up and cool down, 9 for the day @ 1:02.  Now to wrap some presents and relax for a while before church.
