For some reason I just didn't feel like going to the track today so I did today's workout on the treadmill.  Plus I think it's probably a good idea to not run on the track for every workout.  Running the turn at high speeds too often is not good for the legs.

The maximum speed on my treadmill is 5:27 which is exactly the pace I needed to run today.  If I was on the track it would have been 5 x 1200 which works out to 4:03 for 1200.  So on the treadmill I did 5 x 4 minutes with 3 minute jogs in between.  The first one felt pretty uncomfortable, but after that, the progressively got easier.  A few weeks ago I did a similar workout and today felt much better.  With warm up and short cool down it was 9 for today @ 59:15.
