After trying to discontinue my use of cold medicine, last night before bed I felt so congested that I took another nasty dose of Walmart nyquil.  That allowed me to sleep straight through until 10:00 this morning!  I'm still a little stuffy, but I felt well enough to hop on the treadmill for an "easy" workout.  After about 1.5 to warm up, I did 3 x 1000 in 3:36 (5:48 pace).  I felt surprisingly good.  Usually the first one is tough, but today it was "easy."  The interval between was about 3:30 after the first two, and after the third one I just jogged it out until 5 miles @ 34:08.  I know I could have more or run faster, but coming down off this cold, there is no reason to push it.
