Well, today's run didn't workout exactly as I thought it might, but this week isn't shaping up to be a mileage week anyway, so it was a good shakeout for tomorrow.

After attending a Lamaze class that can only be described as ponderous, and longer than expected.  Some of my classmates attended last week and said they were out by 2:30, so I was expecting the same.  The teacher said we "should" be done by 3:00, then proceeded to stretch it out until closer to 4:00.  Wow, that was painful.

I got to my house and quick fed my pups then rounded them up into the car and headed up to Sea Girt.  I was hoping I could leave my dogs with the boys and they could all play while I went for a 5 miler.  But after watching them play for about 5 minutes I knew that wasn't going to work.  Brody and Jake were basically double-teaming Nugget, while Willie circled the melee barking at full volume.  So that was it for that.  Rounded back up into the car and back to Brick.

By the time I got back to Sea Girt, it was about 5:00.  At that point I didn't feel much like running at all, but I still went out for a quick 3 miles around town @ 21 minutes.  I finished off a handful of strides at near 100% just to get the stride fully stretched out.  Tomorrow should be interesting.
